"perfect" is not going to the same number for everybody, but I like about an inch on top of a pint.

About an inch is where I am on my pours and is what I have ussually seen on other peoples systems. Sometimes I'll see up to about 2 fingers of foam which is around 1 1/4" on some of my pours. I've read so many posts about to much foam, I started second guessing myself thinking maybe I was actually getting to much.
