I have made a couple batches so far. I want to have a party mid summer as a tasting party only flaw is I'm restricted on cooling space. How long can beer be good at room temp if I go straight from fermenter to keg. Is this even possible?

Depends on the beer. A Belgian Dark Strong? 10-15 years. American Wheat? probably a few months, maybe 4.

Hoppier beers will last longer (but hop flavor made fade)

Lower PH beers will last longer

Higher alcohol beers will last longer

Beers with a lot of melanoidins will last longer

It's a combo of hte above which determines the shelf life of a particular beer. Each is unique. What did you brew, we'll be able to give you a better answer?

Being in a sanitized keg is the same as a secondary carboy. Don't sweat it. Keep in a cool place. I bet it will be really clear. You could dry hop if you wanted and you could also add corn sugar and naturally carbonate while it's waiting for a spot in the fridge.
