Hi everyone! Brand new brewer and brand new to this forum. Just barreled my first batch. On that same day, decided to brew up a pretty "big" beer. It is a kit from Northern Brewer, called Houblinmonster. It has a OG of about 1.082 and it says to primary ferment for 1-2 weeks and then rack to secondary for another 2 weeks and then bottle and condition for 1-2 more. I am going to go right to a corny keg, so would it be ok to leave it in the secondary fermentor for 4 weeks before kegging? Or would it be better to get it in the keg after 2 weeks and then let it sit for 2 weeks in the keg before consuming it? Does it matter either way? Thanks a lot for your knowledge, oh great homebrewers of the world! Ha.
