Hey guys quick question. Not sure if anyone will have an answer for me but figured I'd try.

I'm getting married in September and will be doing homebrew as favors.

To keep a bit of a theme my groomsmen and I want to do a hop boutonniere with a golf tee. Wrapped with a small wire to attach to our jackets.

I need good looking hop cones. All I am finding are leaf hops. Any idea where I can source good hop cones with a bit of stem maybe? Sample picture below.

Any info would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Cheers!

You won't find fresh cones (and the boy parts in that boutonniere) until the harvest, which starts right around the time of your nuptials.

Where you at? If you're near me I could hook you up with some home-growns...

Cheers!

I figured none would be ready until fall. Was just an idea. Any of those craft stores sell fakes like they do flowers? Doubtful but...
