I brewed a brown porter this morning using this recipe:
Two row 8#
Special Roast 0.5#
Crystal 80 1#
Brown Malt 1#
Chocolate malt 10 oz
EDIT: If you already read the previous post, I was such an idiot. But I am smart too; I erased it. What happened was, my last BK and the new BK are almost identical in diameter, so I didn't recalibrate my old gallon measure stick. Problem solved, what I thought was I had 7.5 gallons of 1.060 wort, but I actually had 5 gallons w/o the trub.
