I started with the basic Pale ale from the Mr Beer kit, bottling tonight (hopefully!), so I've yet to see how my beer will turn out. I have read, though, that spiced/fruit beers can take a lot longer through the entire process and I was interested in brewing a Jingleberry Beer (http://www.mrbeer.com/product-exec/product_id/187/nm/Jingleberry_Beer) for Christmas-ish timeframe.
I know that Mr. Beer was bought out and is switching over to new extracts, etc, so can anyone suggest alternatives I can pursue currently? I'd like to keep it with the small batch and extracts right now as I'm still trying to learn the ropes. Thanks in advance!
