Help! Rice syrup substitute? Regular sugar?

Got this Pacifico clone with 6.75lbs 2-row, 1lb flake maze and 1lb rice syrup. LHBS forgot to give me the rice syrup :-( Brewing now. I have white confection sugar and white sugar. Can I use that instead? Thanks.

Definitely a big NO on the confectioner's sugar- that has anti-caking ingredients added. YOu can't grab a box of minute rice or make some cooked rice? You can add sugar, if you don't have the rice to add to the mash.

Thanks. At the end I just added 10oz of honey (good local one). Will see how it comes. Thanks.
