Hey guys...I've been lurking here and at r/homebrewing on Reddit, which is where I first found out about the Groupon deal at Midwest Homebrewing about a month ago. Anyway, I just did my first boil (Amber Ale) on Saturday. Plenty of things went wrong, but as I've learned from the large amount of reading I did while waiting a month for my girlfriend to get back in town (I want her to get into homebrewing with me), RDWHAHB. Well, change the HB to CB, craft brew, since I have no homebrew yet.
Anyway, I'm a student in Florida, from the Northeast. Looking to eventually move to the Northwest, and I know there's a heavy Northwest influence around here, so that's good.
