Welcome. Don't have any Welsh blood that I know of, but I've been to Wales. And the Welsh language is one of the strangest I've seen, especially when it comes to some of those famous town names.

Welcome, Wales! One of the finest books I ever read was How Green Was my Valley (Richard Llewellyn). Just a masterpiece. I would love to visit Wales after reading that.

This is near Tywyn, Wales, a few miles from where my wife's grandfather lived before he came to the U.S. in the early 1900s.

We have that on DVD. My wife makes me watch it with her around Xmas every year. She gets all weepy watching it.
Movie is horrible (IMO). Book is wonderful. Done both.
