HBS near Hickam AFB?

I just found out that I'm getting stationed at Hickam AFB Hawaii. Are there any home brew shops that way? I have a feeling this is going to put a damper on my brewing. Thanks.

Yes there is one close by. It's the only one on the island and they have a great selection of grain.

At least bring whatever you are using for fermentation temperature control. Ambient temps are never low enough for fermentation.

That's not a problem. I've got a freezer with a Johnson temp controller. Also, what are co2 prices like out there? I have a 5 and 20lb bottle. Trying to see it it would be worth bringing my keezer. It's built from a 20cf chest freezer.

I think my 5# fill was $20 at the fire extinguisher service shop. I think my 20# beer gas cylinder was around $100 for an exchange at Gaspro

Mike's store, home brew in paradise, is the only one on the island. Doesn't carry kits so you need to design ur own recipes. Moved here In August, love it so far. His store is great.
