Has anyone tried Cru Select Torrontes (RQ) kit?

I picked one of these up yesterday wanting to try something new but my girlfriend is afraid she may not like it. She loves oak so I plan to lightly oak with 1.5 light toast French oak spirals.

What more common grapes would you compare this kit to?

Trying to decide if I need to exchange it for another boring California Chardonnay.

just started a 2012 LE kit from LHBS, too good a deal to pass up
not planning to oak mine at all
