Has anyone ever had the issue of bottle fermentation not starting because you racked too clean?

I bottled recently and it looks like the dextrose is just laying on the bottom of the bottles. Should I have pulled up some fine lees to make sure there was enough yeast to carbonate the bottles?

Not unless it's been months since you last racked it. I've been able to carbonate ciders that were crystal clear and 4 months old. It takes a while though.

Like 4+ weeks? Yeah I only had in secondary for a month and a half.
