I'm brewing as I type and I am trying to get mash to temp but its low at 149 target temp is 152. I already added an extra gallon of hot water to get it to 149 and will just subtract that from the sparge. I am not sure if adding even more water to get it up to 152 will do more damage then good. Any thoughts?

I wouldn't worry about it. Just finish the mash at 149. It may have a thinner mouthfeel to it when it is finished but it will still be beer!

Thanks ScubaSteve, that is exactly what I did. It could've been worse. :mug:
