Good or bad WLP 830?

48 hours after pitching

I did a Helles with 830 a couple months ago (turned out nice). Never had much krausen at all and it definitely didn't get fluffy. Worst comes to worse you have a funky/sour lager.

Mine starter was fluffy, but it was just foam, and obviously foam at that.

Regarding your picture, it could be an infection.

I think it's good . I caught at the beginiging and now all seems well.

Starter is at room temperature

refrigerate now or tomorrow , brew day is Sunday?

Oh that was a starter!? Looks bad but only time will tell. Just put it in the fridge for a couple days, decant the spent beer, pitch your beer cold, and oxygenate as much as you can, and control your fermentation temp. I hope all works out!!!
