Fridge versus stand up freezer kegerator

I may be missing something but seems like a freezer less fridge is the way to go here.

Any opinions to the contrary ?

Sure, it would probably work just fine. There are very few freezerless fridges to choose from though and getting one that has the same capacity of the 20CF upright freezer will be tough and likely much more expensive.

I personally have an all-fridge unit in my garage for sodas, beer, etc. and I know when buying it that there were very few choices available. Sears was the only place I could find one.
