First Starter. Not Sure If there is an Issue.

Got a clinger on the side of the flask as seen in the picture below. is this valuable yeast or is it more likely a clump of DME? if yeast, should I try to knock it into solution? and if DME should i try to extract it with a sanitized utensil? I will be making a step up in the same flask so i am concerened it will at some point come into contact with the solution.

Most likely DME. It's in the same environment as the rest of the starter, so no reason to be concerned about it coming in contact with the rest of it. I'd just leave it alone and let it go.
