6.6 lbs Briess Wheat lme
1 lb 2 row
1 lb flaked wheat
.5 lb honey wheat
1 oz Magnum hops
1 oz hallertau hops

Sorry posted while half asleep
Actually 1/2 oz of magum at 60 min
1/2 oz hallertau for 15
1/2 oz hallertau for 5 min
Wyeast american wheat yeast

This is my first time trying partial mash just to utilize the honey malt and flaked wheat.

I was thinking of adding kiwi into secondary to go for a american wheat/ hefe with subtle kiwi taste

Yes, Camping is right. You're really going to have some big hop presence in this recipe as-is. 1/2oz of Magnum @60mins is too much bitterness for a hefe. Sure you can use em but a hefe only has between 8-15IBUs, and an american wheat upwards of 30IBUs, so you'll have to scale back a bit there. If you are shooting for an American-style hefe, then why not go with some american hops? Maybe bitter with Willamette @60min and some cascade @15. Skip the aroma addition... Now you can do whatever you want here, after all it's YOUR beer, but FWIW a wheat beer should have about 50% wheat in the grist. And make sure you use a blowoff tube - hefe yeast can be quite ferocious

Cheers
