Well, we finally brewed again after several years off... felt really good. We made a basic Scottish ale and, aside from a few small issues, things went very well.

The biggest problem that we saw was rust on the grain mill rollers (JSP mill). It was stored inside the house so I'm a little surprised that it rusted. Dismantled it, wire brushed the rollers, applied a light coat of mineral oil and then re-assembled. I've seen others post on this issue so if you ever decide to take some time off, you may want to mineral oil your rollers for storage.
