First Batch Tastes Pretty Darn Good!

My first batch will be officially ready next week, but I couldn't resist. I'm on number two right now. Midwest Weizenbier kit




A couple of things I noticed: The flavor wasn't quite what I expected, but it's still really good. The color wasn't at all what I thought it would be. I think I might have scorched the LME a bit, but I'm not too sure. Also, it was much clearer than I expected. I guess it could be that there was no grain in it. My second batch is in the primary - a variation of the infamous Apfelwein. Can't wait for that one either!
