Hello! I just wanted to share the fact that 2 weeks ago, I bottled my first batch of beer, a dark ipa. 2 days ago I tried one that was from the bottom of the bottling bucket, filled by pouring because I lost the siphon... Terrible idea. It tasted like malt vinegar I was nervous, scared the whole batch would taste like that..
Tonight, I put one bottle in the fridge, the first one capped, to see... Well it was heaven best ipa I may have had, im also going to be prejudice here.
With a day off work on Friday, I shall be enjoying more then one of these tomorrow night!
Also, 1 quart bottle, about 8% I'm pleased with the result

try to put the bottles in the fridge at least 48 hours before drinking. that cooling time lets the co2 absorb into the beer and have an even carb
