HI all. Going to try my first all grain this weekend. Thinking the following:

12 lbs tam rinks 2row
.8 lbs ham rinks honey malt
.8 lbs organic c-20l

I want to have a fruit flavored ipa - thoughts are cites and Nelson sauvin - any ideas on hop schedule?

Really appreciate any thoughts.

Thanks

Cites = Citra?

I do a great fruity Citra APA with the following:

5 gallon batch

10 lbs TWO ROW
0.5 lbs HONEY MALT

0.75 oz Citra @ 60
0.50 oz Citra @ 15
0.50 oz Citra @ 5

Safale S-05 yeast

Primary 3 weeks
Bottle 3 weeks

I've made about 30 gallons of this stuff. It's my warm weather house beer.

Tastes like sunshine, smells like lemon-lime!

That's a pretty light colored IPA...how about throwing in a 0.25 - 0.5 lb of a caramel malt (maybe Crystal 40?). Maybe another 0.25 - 0.5 lbs of Vienna to give it some depth too.

Toph, I brewed that based on your response to one of my threads...excellent beer!!! I even dyed some green for St Pats day.

Thanks...I like to think of it as a Topher original, since I've never seen that particular combo before, but I'm sure it's been done before!

Yes sorry - spell check - gambrinus for both and citra

Thoughts on Nelson sauvin? Dry hop only? Anyone use in iPad?
