My Carboy is in my basement. It has been at 69 degrees, at night it has been cool and I noticed that it dropped 2 degrees. Will fluctuating temps hurt it?

No. I know some would say that it could but the yeast have a range that they're comfortable in.

One or two degrees won't hurt anything. It happens to me all the time. Consistancy is more important than hitting your exact temperature though. If you want a constant 68 but you are sometimes in the mid 70's and sometimes in the mid 60's that is honestly worse than sitting at a constant 70.

Fluctuations that small aren't going to hurt anything. Even the ambient temperature in a fermentation fridge fluctuates a few degrees.
