An interesting read, but the vibe I got from the wording and development of the article made it seem like someone in the sales dept at BMC provided the talking points to Reuters. If you can't take back market share with your product, get the government to do it for you with oppressive regulation, fees and new requirements which drive the little guys out of the market.
 
in the first paragraph of the article, the worker was not following already existing OSHA enclosed space working and airtest/ventilation regs.
this wasn't a brewery sending in an employee, it was a vessel welding contractor that was cutting corners on gear and should have know better.

not the small brewery's fault.
