If you have tried this I have a few questions:
What was your ratio of lavender to alcohol when making the tincture and how long did you let it soak?
What kind of beer did you put it in?
How much tincture did you use per 5 gallons of beer?
How did it turn out?
I'll be kegging a Kolsch soon and I plan on adding the zest of two lemons to the fermenter for 7 days and then racking the beer into a keg where I will add the tincture. My plan is to use 8 oz of 90 proof vodka and one ounce of culinary lavender to make the tincture adding just one ounce of tincture at a time until I get the flavor I'm looking for.
