Ever been here before?

I Had a couple mishaps today this sucked though. My hands were wet with star San. A smack pack would not have done that. Anyone else ever have this happen?

of course with the smack pack, you have the opportunity to dump the empty nutrient package into your starter. 6 of one and half a dozen of the other I suppose

Nutrient packets don't tent to be covered in gross hand bacteria though.

Yes. I did this with the first starter I ever made. I even thought first that I should sanitize the vial just in case and I thought better of it. The starter turned out okay though... maybe my hands are just naturally sanitary.
