So I’ve brewed a few neipas in my fermzilla all rounder the one thing I’m noticing now that I’m pushing co2 into the headspace post dh and also doing a short soft crash to drop the beer temp to 60 deg is that every time I then dh the pellet hops almost immediately sink to the bottom and I feel like I’m not getting the nose I had in the past. I previously used glass carboys and never soft crashed so I added dh with beer temp In the 70deg range and they always floated and I felt the beers had a much better nose. Am I crazy here or is there a reason the dh now just sink and
Is utilization decreased with them sinking and breaking up on the trub vs on top of the beer
