Dry hop timeframe?

I've got a Two hearted batch waiting to dry hop; Its been in primary for two and a half weeks... BUT, we're leaving for vacation in the morning and will be gone for 8 days!

Should I:

A) dry hop before I leave (8 day DH?)
B) dry hop once I return?

How long did you plan to leave the beer on the hops? I've done over 14 days and didn't notice any grassy flavors. I think 8 days is fine.
 
I'd dryhop when you return. In my experience you'll lose a lot of aroma if it sits for eight days. Depending one how much etc I've found out that I wouldn't leave hops in for more than five days if you want a nice aroma. Currently I'm doing about 2-3 days.
 
If you want to package it when returning dry hop before, if you don't you can wait. Either way. Most recipes I have seen say to dry hop 5-7 days so 8 shouldn't be anything to worry about.
