I saw one of these at home goods and it got me thinking:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000QSMWRK/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20
Made from High Density Polyethylene, FDA Approved Food Grade Plastic. BPA free.
23 bucks for a 6.7 gallon container, with a screw on air tight lid, and handles! I wonder how much pressure this thing would handle - it felt pretty sturdy. Anyone have any ideas? I bet it could handle enough pressure to serve beer.
If that's the case, you'd just need 2 posts and a diptube. Could be a cheap mini party keg option if you pressurize in a corney.
