I wanted to share a small project I tackled over the weekend to make a simple sparge arm (more of a ring really) that could easily be attached and removed from my keggle for cleaning
I had a piece of 1/2" copper tubing left over from making a whirlpool attachment so a quick run to HomeDepot to purchase a T adapter and 1/2" FPT adapter. After a bit of bending, soldering and drilling:
Up close view of the connection:
Now to attach it to the keggle, I used an old curtain rod hanger to hold it in place:
The sparge arm rests under the opening of the keggle which helps to hold it in place as well as the T fitting sits snug in the curtain rod hanger.
I hope this helps someone looking to build their own!
