Just got a 10gal cooler from Home Depot.

For now I'm using it as a HLT so I just need an easier dispenser spout. Has anyone done a bulkhead with stuff from a hardware store?

I did my own. I just cobbled together some parts that sandwiched the inner wall of my cooler. I used a hole saw to drill out the outer wall and made a water tight path through the inner wall. It's just a piece of dual threaded coupling, some fender washers, o-rings, and hose barbs. Then I put a simple plaatic ball valve on the outside piece of hose. Still works great 5+ years later.
