Sorry for the overly verbose title. Essentially I am trying to remove the inner plastic tube from inside of a stainless steel braided water supply line so I can use it as a filter, as per A Brewtiful World: Mash Tun DIY Build these instructions.
The issue is, I am deviating from the instructions a small bit. Instead of using a flared tip 'barb' adapter, I am leaving one of the female nuts on the end of the hose. This will allow it to thread onto the brass nipple which straddles the cooler wall and connects to the ball valve on the opposite end.
This is a problem because the tube is permanently attached to the inside of the end-piece where the mouth is. How do I remove the inner tube without removing both ends of the steel braid? Thanks.
edit: disregard, issue resolved.
