So I was considering making a batch of beer that would be inspired by the disco lemonade cocktail. It consists of blue curaçao, vodka and lemonade. The main fruit in blue curaçao is laraha, which I'm not sure if it would be available to me but to my understanding is similar to an orange. So for that ingredient I'm thinking of I can find some type of orange that is similar in flavor characteristics I could use that. As for the lemon I'm thinking either lemon peel in the boil or brewing a shandy and using lemonade or fresh lemon juice when bottling. I guess depending on the method would determine the style of beer. Maybe with the lemon peel a Berliner weisse would work or an ipa. If anyone has and suggestions or ideas of their own on this crazy idea of mine id love to hear the.
