Did i mess up my beer, help needed

Whats good guys, so last nights brew day went longer than planned and when i transferred the wort to fermenter and attatched the blow off tube to it, i went to sleep, woke up this morning hoping to see some activity and noticed i had the blow off tube not in the mason jar and just sucking air. I had pitched the yeast maybe 5 hours prior and had the fermenter at a low temp. Is this salvagable? If not id rather know adn throw it out now and try and make another one tonight. Thanks all

If your FC is clean I don't really see why it would be ruined just because of that, put it in the jar and see how the beer turns out

Thanks guys, yeah its clean , i made sure i sanitized everything before transfer and all went well EXCEPT for waking up and not seeing any activity and noticing it was just hanging outside the mason jar. If this beer fails itll be the 3rd time that something happens when im making this particular beer. It might be cursed. LOL
