i know someone on here has cut their keezer lid in half across the width of it. this allows you topopen the front half of the keezer to access your kegs.

has anyone ever cut it in half the other way. so you can open the right or left half of the keezer? if so, how did it work out? pictures?

drawbacks i can think of are getting a good seal and needing to add more hinges.

So I can have it right against the wall and not worry about the tower banging into the wall when I open it.

I would think it would be easier just to make a new lid than use the orginal from the freezer. Maybe a counter top so it would be heavy enough to seal. But yeah, the seal between the two would be hard part.

That's what I have been thinking about. Making a totally new lid, my woodworking skills stink though
