During investigation of a related thread, I stumbled upon Safetygrams published by Air Products that might prove informative to homebrew keggers.
A Carbon Dioxide Safetygram with a fairly thorough discussion of CO2.
A Cylinder Valve Safetygram discussing various valves used for compressed gases. Particularly interesting to me is the discussion of pressure seal valves and the need to fully open them for the best seal. This is the type of valve found on my 20# CO2 tank. I've always assumed that the loose handwheel was a flaw but it's actually a feature.
A Cylinder Valve Outlet Connection Safetygram which includes a discussion of CGA torque specs. CGA320 being the standard for CO2.
A listing of all the Safetygrams.
