I just ordered a variety pack from Yakima Valley Hops. It's a bit of an oddball but I thought it looked interesting, the variety pack includes a half pound of Comet, Pekko, 007, and Lemon Drop.
I've never used any of these hops so I don't have any experience with them. I'm planning on using the Lemon Drop in a saison but outside of that I'm not really sure what to do with all of these. I've seen some people using the Comet and 007 in IPA / pale hop forward beers. I'm not sure I've seen any recipes using Pekko?
I also have a good amount of Centennial, Columbus, and Chinook as well so figuring I could use these new hops to synergize some of the traditional C-hops I'm stocking.
Any thoughts, comments, advice, reviews, recipes, or even a ramble is appreciated.
