hey guys so my wife is almost done with her masters in anthropology and she has been studying Spain a lot so she wanted me to make a batch of chicha for her. she has planted blue peruvian corn to use in the batch. any one ever tried to mash corn? we are planning on drying the corn then spraying it down and leaving it in the sun so it will germinate then i will grind it and mash it. most likely i will not have enough corn to do a full batch so I'm thinking of making a low hopped pale ale with all the corn we have.
any suggestions on how to dry, germinate, or mash in with the corn? or if any one has done this any suggestions you have.
