So I have two small batches coming up. Well, I brewed the Grapefruit Pale Ale already but the Lemon Drop Saison ingredients are on the way. Anyways, tell me whatcha think. I put the profiles below but I’ll run through the recipes in less detail below. Also, the recipes were generated using pieces from a varity of sources. Both are 2.5 gallon batches.
Grapefruit Pale Ale (15 minute boil)
3 lbs Light DME
.5 lbs 40L crystal (steeped).
1 oz cascade 15 min
.5 oz cascade 5 min
.5 oz Amarillo 0 min/flameout
.5 quart grapefruit juice during chill
Yeast: US-05
Lemon Drop Saison (60 minute boil)
3 lbs Light DME
.5 lbs sucrose
.25 oz horizon 60 min
.5 oz lemon drop 10 min
.5 oz lemon drop 0 min/flameout
Yeast: Danstar Belle Saison.
