Im sure this has been discussed before, and for that I apologize but I cant seem to find it.
I just purchased a baby pump, and want to start recirculating with my CFC. For this, I want a camlock and silicone tube system to connect to my recirc arm, so I can easily disconnect it and go to the carboy.
Now my question. I have heard that threaded fittings work as well, or better, than barbs on silicone tubing. Can anyone comment on this? Would you recommend I buy threaded camlocks or barb camlocks?
The one thing I like about going threaded is I can later on use them for threaded connections, should I need to.
Much thanks!
