Hey guys
I haven't been on very much lately. I usually do most of my posting and browsing at work, and I just started a new job which has been much busier and harder to find the time. I just thought I would make some time to share a new recipe that I put together and the results. I called this C4 IPA. Chose the name because it has a little pop of bitterness and is also made with 4 different "C" hops. I think it turned out great! Here is what I did:
C4 IPA - 3 gallon
6lbs 2 Row
8oz Crystal 60
8oz Carafoam
.5oz Columbus 60mins
.5oz Cascade 10mins
.5oz Cascade 0mins
Nottingham yeast
Dry hopped with 1oz Centennial and 1oz Citra for 1 week.
OG: 1.060
FG: 1.010
ABV: 6.5%
The aroma was awesome! Very peachy. Perfect amount of bitterness at 52.6 IBUs. When I have more time, I will post this in my recipes but I just wanted to come on and see how things were and give you guys a look at what I had going. Hopefully I will have more time to visit!
Cheers!
