Could this be our newest/most up to date guide to creating recipes for major beer styles?

I know you can get these (and more) just by searching BYO also but this is a nice collection all together for our major styles at a low cost of $10. A win IMO.

I have the previous one with 250 classic clone recipes. tons of good recipes in that one for popular beers around the world. Midwest gave me a free copy ($10 too) when they were moving their warehouse & took a long time getting my order out.

The 30 great beer styles write up by JZ goes way more in depth into the brewing process and style info on each of the styles than the 250 clone beers issue which was more of a collection of recipes with a small blurb about the beer.

This is true. I recently searched, copied, and pasted into word documents on BYO.com a bunch of the beer styles and the info about them. They each took up about 7 pages. The stories behind each one were all very interesting and very informative.

I think the 250 classic clones one assumes you've had the beer or will try it yourself before brewing it. Write ups can say a lot,but can't make up for personal experiences.
