17 lbs. Belgian Pils Malt
12 lbs. British Brown Malt
1.5 lbs. British Chocolate Malt
1 lb. British 50/60L Crystal Malt
2 lbs. Quaker Oats toasted 45 mins @ 350 F on cookie sheets
1/2 lb. Roasted Barley
1/2 lb. British Black Patent
Mash 156 F 90 mins
Boil 90 mins
Fresh picked hops from garden - a mix of Mt. Hood, Cascade, Sterling, Tettnanger, and Willamette - as needed for bittering, flavor and aroma.
Fresh picked local blackerries - 5 lbs. add 5 mins prior to knockout
Ferment one carboy US-05 and one carboy S-04 @ 62 F.
Rack to secondary over 5 lbs. blackberries per carboy.
