So I am brewing beers for a friends daughters wedding in October. Brewing 2 batches of Oktoberfest.

Just realized my kits had hops mixed up. Gave me 2 packs of aroma in first batch. 2 bettering hops in second.

Didn't catch the mistake on first one, bottled them today. Brewing second batch now.

Should I just use 1 pack of bitter hop and don't worry about aroma hops?

Also, any idea what the first batch will taste like? Hate idea of brewing a third batch, since I just bottled it.

Thoughts?

Tell us what kind of hops, how much of each kind, and what the alpha acids were of each kind.

I regularly use aroma hops for my entire hop schedule So IMO your first batch depends on the hops should be ok but bittering hops for your second batch is a different story unless you can get some finishing hops to add. I'm not a big hop head so maybe it'll work for you.

Thanks. That makes me feel better about first batch. Since oktoberfests are a low hop style anyways, I figured it isn't a disaster.
