I am new to homebrewing. I want to make my priming sugar solution tonight so I dont have to do it tomorrow because I want to be able to get a head start on bottling my midwest pumpkin ale. Is it okay to make it in advance? And should I just sanitize a tupperware container and pour the cooled solution in there?

Just boil it for a few minutes tomorrow and pour it into the bottom of the bottling bucket just before you siphon the brew on top of it. Be sure to get a nice swirl going in the bucket (put the end of the siphon tube so that it does this with minimal disturbance) so that the solution mixes well. You'll probably have more issues from using a cooled down priming solution than using it right from the stove.

IME, get the priming solution ready so that it's boiling while you're doing other things. Like sanitizing the bottles, tubing, etc.
