My Weizenbock is ready for the bottle tomorrow, and I'm nervous about the 4+ volumes of carbonation the style requires compared to the 3 volumes max recommended for standard longnecks. I'd like to get to the middle of the style, or roughly 4.25 volumes. I don't have any kegs or very many belgian stubbies.

I have two cases of bombers, and they clearly have thicker glass than my longnecks. Problem is, I can't find anything on how many volumes of C02 the average bomber can handle. Does anyone have experience or data on bomber C02 capacity?

I bottled a weizenbock in standard longnecks at 4 volumes co2. I don't know if I'm lucky but after a month, I haven't had any bombs. My 2 cents.
