Going up that away for work, any good recommendations for beer and/or good spots to buy it?

Table Rock Brewpub:

It's been a few years since I was there, but they make a really tasty nut brown ale & their food is pretty good too.

If you're interested in wine, you might take a little drive of about 40 minutes or so over to Caldwell, ID & visit the Ste Chapelle winery:

IMHO, they make the BEST riesling in the USA, their Cab ain't bad either.
Hope you have a great trip, Idaho is an awesome state!
Regards, GF.

We're starting to get quite few breweries around here. Table Rock, Sockeye (Dagger Falls IPA is awesome), Payette Brewing, Kilted Dragon, Slanted Rock, Highlands Hollow, Crescent over in Nampa. Brewforia (2 locations) has great food and more beer available than most anywhere. Nampa also has the Idaho Hop House. New place in downtown Nampa. Similar to Brewforia. Crescent Brewing is a couple of blocks away. Boise also has Bitter Creek Ale house. Brewers Haven has 2 location. One in Boise, one in Nampa. Both have brewing supplies and tap rooms. Homebrewstuff is right by Kilted Dragon and they have a great beer selection and tap room.
