Has anyone gotten one of these to use in their brewing or fermenting?
If you haven't seen them, they're generally geared towards BBQ/grilling. But it's a little probe and transmitter that will connect to your phone/tablet and allow you to monitor the temps.
I can see this being very handy during mashing and fermenting, so that you don't have to constantly go open the MLT or fermenting chamber to see your wort temp.
I've toyed with the idea of getting one (mostly for mashing) but wanted to know if anyone has any experience with any particular models? One main concern I have is how waterproof the probes are.
