This may have been posted already, but this is an awesome idea. I would definitely snag one if they succeed in finishing. It's a wireless hydrometer and thermometer that will interface with smartphones and computers.

I made a pledge and am sharing to see if it can get enough backing to go

Yeah I've seen that one on there. There's a couple of others out there on kickstarter as well. One looks kinda like a a flying saucer with a probe that sticks down into the beer. I think that one only records temp though...can't remember. Another one floats inside your beer called the BeerBug.

I backed this a few weeks ago. It's a shame it looks like it might not make it. Very cool gadget and a cool project.
