A bit deeper than my first

Scar, scar, can you feel my power?
Shoot here, and the world gets smaller
Scar, scar, can you feel my power?
One shot, and the world gets smaller

Studebaker Hawk, he's really outa sight,
Studebaker Hawk, he does it every night,
Studebaker Hawk, he treats the flies all right,
Studebaker Hawk, that's why they never bite.

Frank Zappa

"everybody look at me cause I'm sailing on a boat"

Edit:
I'm on a Boat by Lonely Island, who usually swear too much for my liking

I've always liked these lines, but as I'm getting well into my 60's they hit a little harder than they used to.

"Wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then..."
Bob Seger, Against the Wind.

"Don't let the past remind us of what we are not now..."
Crosby Stills and Nash, Suite: Judy Blue Eyes.

"still I want to be as American
As the French are European
Or as those from Antarctica are Antarctican
Even if they're just Penguins"

Edit:
I am not American by the Arrogant Worms.

A few of my favorites come to mind…

“We can share the women. We can share the wine. We can share what we have of yours cause we done shared all of mine”
Jack Straw- Grateful Dead.
I’m not a huge “Dead” fan , but always liked that one.

“You got lucky baby, when I found you”
You got lucky-Tom Petty & the heartbreakers.

“ All you touch and all you see is all your life will ever be”
Breath- Pink Floyd.

"You seem pretty cool for a naked chick in a booth. Let's be pals some day. 'Nuther words... put some close on and call me!"

PUSA - Stranger

I am freaking glad I am not the one cuz buddy, I would have to take my losses and run
But looking on the bright side, it could be worse, you know
You coulda gone full commando

"Like father. Step-father. The son is drowning in the flood!" Weezer (Say it Ain't So)

"Words and dreams and a million screams, oh how I need a hand in mine to feel!" - Weezer (Falling for You)

"I don't want this. Remember that. I'll never forget where you're at..." Bush (Glycerine)

"Yeah, we stare at the beautiful women. She's perfect for you. Man, there's got to be somebody for me!" - Counting Crows (Mr. Jones)

"Can we forget about the things I said when I was drunk..." - Lit (My Own Worst Enemy)

"She had a snake for a pet, and an amulet
And she was breeding a dwarf, b
ut she wasn't done yet"

Frank Zappa, Camarillo Brillo

Someone here used to have a signature that read...

"Is that a real poncho or a Sears poncho?"

Not exact lyrics but from the same song. Always made me smile when I saw it ...

And the beer I had for breakfast wasn't bad

So I had one more for dessert

Jackson Browne has some lines that I can ponder for years. From Walking Slow

Don't know why I'm happy
I've got no reason to feel this good
Maybe it's because I'm all alone and I've got no place to go
And everywhere I look I see another person I'll never know

Figured there'd be a lot more Floyd by now, but maybe that's too easy.

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day

You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way

And then one day you find ten years have got behind you

Pink Floyd, Time
I always thought the best line from that song was the last one....

The time is gone, the song is over,
thought I'd something more to say

My take - The song ended before he had a chance to finish it. (ran out of time).

We blew up our TV threw away our paper
Went to the country, built us a home
Had a lot of children, fed 'em on peaches
They all found Jesus on their own

John Denver (prefer Avett Brothers version), Spanish Pipedream

The angel closes her eyes
The confusion that was hers
Belongs now, to the baby down the hall

Live, Lightening Crashes

No one I think is in my tree

McCartney/Lennon
