A few months ago I tried one of the Ballast Point experimental beers, a Beet Stout. It was a very tasty and very unusual, interesting beer - darker red - beet colored, but also somewhat translucent, not like a regular stout color. Delicious.
I have been searching periodically to get any info on this beer, but to no avail. Did anyone else try this (or any other beet stout)? I found a few recipes that incorporate beets, but not towards this type of stout.
